IHS Completes 2010 Band Camp with Full Run-Through

The Immaculata Spartan Marching Band returned from a great week of band camp at Camp Bernie on Friday, 8/27.  After a wet start to the week, the band was able to learn the entire drill and by Friday morning could march and play the entire show.  A video of the Friday run through is available on Spartan TV. Next week at MiniCamp, the band will continue to clean the show as they prepare for the 2010 competition season.

The following week, the band will have their first performances of 2010.  The excitement kicks off on Thursday, 9/9 at Immaculata with Meet The Teams, the annual fall sports pep rally.  On Friday, the band will perform at the first football game.  The weekend culminates with the first USSBA competition of the year at North Penn HS on Saturday, 9/11. Come out and support the band at any one or all three of these exciting events as the band starts their 2010 season that will feature performances at The New Meadowlands Stadium and Rutgers University as well as State and Northern States Championships!

Congratulations to the members on a great camp.  Thanks to the band parents and the staff for all their help in making our 2010 band camp such a huge success!
